GiftAMeal is a mobile application that helps provide a meal to someone in need each time a user takes a photo of their food/drink from a partner restaurant. Featured in the Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, Fox 2 News, and more, GiftAMeal has 1,000+ partner restaurants and has provided over 2,250,000+ meals to those in need.

Job Description​

We are seeking an Intern to work directly under the CEO to assist with his top priority projects. The intern will have hands-on responsibilities including:

• Write and schedule email campaigns to set up meetings for the CEO with chain executives
• Conduct background research on chain restaurants and prepare PowerPoints for pitches for the CEO to pitch their leadership teams
• Manage GiftAMeal’s official social media accounts with posting content daily
• Write blog posts to boost GiftAMeal’s SEO-Ideate media / PR strategy to keep momentum and relevance in the industry
• Distribute promotional materials to partner restaurants to increases program awareness and utilization by their customers
• Find new automations, tools, and efficiencies for daily tasks
• Conduct data analysis on GiftAMeal user behavior, restaurant pitch success metrics, and restaurant retention metrics
• Ideate strategic partnership opportunities for GiftAMeal with other companies in the food tech space (loyalty, point-of-sale, delivery, online ordering, etc.)

An intern candidate does not need to be able to do every one of these projects to qualify. These are just some examples. GiftAMeal internships are made to be a learning experience for you to expose you to many different sides of the startup world! Compensation:

• $14/hour, 5-7 hours a week
• Reimbursement for gas for distributing promotional materials to local restaurants (or for Enterprise Car Share if you don't have a car)
